HuMp DaY Haiku - Mossy Stump

On a mossy stump.
Wandering in our wild space
Message calls to me

I've had a hard time the past few weeks, too many demands, too much stress, too little support. And wandering the back “wild space” near the creek, listening to the birds, I came across this stump, embedded with an old rusty shovel, showing me a moss heart. Hearts literally jump out at me from all over. What do you suppose the message is?

I've decided I need to take some time away, all by myself, to think and find out what’s in MY heart. I must let go of the perceived expectations of others (and myself), and focus on being true to ME.

Note that this week I'm also submitting this post to
Haiku my Heart at recuerda mi corazon

And now... back to our  HuMp DaY Haiku!
I started doing Hump Day Haiku with Carla Sonheim's Silly classes...  and decided as a challenge for myself, I'd continue.  In this process, I have found that creating a haiku (non rhyming poem with 5 - 7 - 5 syllables per line) feeds my soul.
I especially like creating them to go with my photos and art.

Would you like to share a haiku you have written?

I believe the hearts mean you are loved and to follow your heart. I love you and want to support you in any way I can. Hugs, dear one.

Take time just to BE. Be Helen. Nurture your spirit. Take more walks to quiet places, sometimes unencumbered even by a camera. Let the things you see be captured by your mind and imprinted in your memory. Do what brings you joy.

Love your Haiku Helen. The moss heart I do see and it may be a sign to take heart of what you are feeling. Happy Haiku Hump Day, tomorrow that is. tee hee.

Your hearts are beautiful. The fact you see them so much could mean a lot of things. You are searching for love. You simply love the idea of hearts and love. You are always out in the elements (which I know you love) and you are in a state to receive the hearts and the love. What ever it really means, it definitely is signaling you for something. Follow your hearts!!

Helen, this is such a meaningful post. I feel like we are being pulled to go inside of ourselves. I have been feeling the same way and I come across others who are hearing the whispers as well. I believe it's time to connect with our higher selves. We need to become still so we can hear Him. You are loved! xoxo

I think the hearts are coming to you to bring you joy and peace ... and love!

I like the idea of the old shovel buried deep into the stump ... a rustic and perfect backdrop for the heart!
