I've always wondered...
Why call this flower fox glove
when they're fairy bells?
I started doing Hump Day Haiku with Carla Sonheim's Silly classes... and decided as a challenge for myself, I'd continue. In this process, I have found that creating a haiku (non rhyming poem with 5 - 7 - 5 syllables per line) feeds my soul.
I especially like creating them to go with my photos and art.

The pink one is gorgeous. They compliment the chives very nicely. Check wikipedia for foxglove. You'll find that "fairy bells" is part of the plant's history.

As a child I would see these tall beauties growing in clear cut forest areas. Never, ever, did I see a fox. A fairie maybe, never, ever a fox. Let's rename them.
