What's in my Studio

Just a glance at what's going on in my studio this week.

Working on some collage/torn paper critters for a swap. These ones are just at the initial torn paper background stage
What I'll do next is cut out an animal shape, then add more paper and drawn or painted details. I need to get them done so they can be in the mail by Thursday... Wish me luck!

I've also been staining these easels a rustic brown.
I sell them in my Etsy shop, and needed to replenish. I do as many as I can stand doing at one time.

What's on your workdesk today?
Check in with other folks around the globe at Julia's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Love those blue green tones! My favourite colours.
I'm tickled that you sell so many easels, didn't realise there was such a demand!!

How has your etsy shop been doing since their listing and all the mass produced stuff is being sold on there? I have heard of huge sales drops. Love the colours you are using on your paper. #23

Have fun, Helen, with your little animals. Hope it all gets done in time! I can see why you mass paint the little easels - only way to do tedium, isn't it?!
Take care. God bless.

Sometimes making the backgrounds is the most fun part! Don't you ever feel almost sad you are going to cover them again?
Great art you have on etsy too, love the Red Monarda / Bee balm.

those squares of paper are so interesting please show next week when you finish them as I am intrigued. I never knew people used easels today, they will make fab Christmas presents.
