At the River

We had a great time at Rasar Park, lot's of rest and reading and taking walks down to the river. Not as much sunshine as promised, but at least it didn't rain heavily until we were headed home. The river wasn't as high as we expected, although we could see it had been. It was still the highest we've seen while camping. Usually there is a sandy beach all along this stretch.

And the rocky point is mostly underwater and filled with sand. I did find some rocks in the sand that worked for the Silly 3 photo assignment - making a face with odd objects.

And while we were having our picnic snack, I dropped some of my trail mix so created this face...

John sometimes wonders about me. :)

What a fun idea. Glad you had a chance to get away for a short vacation.

Great faces! And it looks beautiful where you live. Actually, anything looks beautiful to me if it isn't covered with snow at the moment. I love Carla Sonheim! I did the first silly and am still laughing. I am also participating irregularly in the flickr group for her Drawing Lab book. Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a note.
