Dreary rainy day
Puddle in the parking lot
shows a little heart.
I met a friend for a play date today, at Stampadoodle. Came out to a chilly downpour. Ah, winter in Bellingham! The parking lot had a little surprise, right beside my car... a heart shaped puddle. Can you see it? Things are never as dreary as they appear. :)
I started doing Hump Day Haiku with Carla Sonheim's Silly classes... and decided as a challenge for myself, I'd continue. In this process, I have found that creating a haiku to go with my photos feeds my soul.
Perhaps you'd like to share a haiku you have written?

Oh I do see a heart. Very. Well done Haiku. I'm starting to like doing Haiku. I learning from not only you but I read Rebecca Haiku day and the participants do some really great Haiku's. I'll be posting mine after I leave here and then come back to let you know I posted. Great job.
Yes I'm back and did link my post to your HuMp DaY Haiku. Have a great rest of the week.
Your eye misses very little. I'd see just a puddle. Nicely done.
Deep puddles of rain
annoy me, but here's what's worse:
puddles left by pets.
Love your haiku, Madeleine!
What a beautiful and almost ethereal heart! What a great eye you have to see it waiting for you!!! :=}
I have never really tried Haiku, but lately I've see so many beautiful verses, I may just have to give it a try ...
