Chilly gray day walk.
Interesting discovery
cheers my wintry mood.
One cold gray day, on my walk near Scudder Pond, I noticed this interesting large old tree. A branch had been trimmed, leaving a one eyed "bunny" face. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed there is also a heart in the bark above the bunny face. Can you see it?

What a delightful photo and a sweet find.
Such wonderful discoveries!!!
That's amazing!
Helen you always find the most wonderful pictures out in nature! The bunny is fabulous!
Very cute~
Not only is there a bunny and a heart, but I see a critter in the knot hole to the left above the bunny. You DO have a keen eye.
Imagine that! You have good eyes. And an imagination.
I see it. I focused on the obvious rabbit head. I never would have looked farther and found the heart had you not pointed it out. A good lesson here, now to remember that later today and tomorrow is the challenge.
Good find, by the way, and great haiku!
Peace
Wonderful photo and haiku is perfect with it ~ What a gift you found in the tree ~ its beauty ~~ namaste, carol (A Creative Harbor)

Yes, I can see it. It's amazing what a walk can reveal about the environment and about what is inside of us. Thanks.
Finds like this can make your day isn't it? I can see the heart too...awesome!
