This year we're growing them in pots; we'll have a real bed of them next year. We're trying three varieties, however this ever-bearing Joe's Best Tri-Star is our favorite and the one we're letting "spread".
We're already looking forward to next year when we'll get more than a handful at a time. :)

We've grown some in pots too, only we usually find the birds have found them first! lol.
