I'm using a journaling prompt from an online friend at atcsforall.com. Laying down the basic colors as directed, but didn't like it so painted over it again, and still wasn't happy so added some stenciling. I think I can make this work. More to come...
And a few layers of paint on the fairy altered book spread.
When I'm painting I have some journals and watercolor paper out and slap it on there too. It uses up the excess paint and creates a stash of many interesting backgrounds.

I always have other projects going too that I use excess paint on so it's not wasted! Thanks for sharing!
half the time its all about the process, sometimes my papers look completely different by the time I get to that 'Im finished with it stage' looks great though!
