I've had a busy week. Appointments with son and doctors, training on my new part time job, meeting with art friends. And I'm proud that almost every morning, I worked on painting something. Yay for me! *laughing*
This is the third (yes third) rendition of this sunset mountain landscape, still a work in progress. In my first two versions, my mountain was too dark, and my foreground trees did not show up as I wished. So I've painted my mountain again a bit lighter and still have the trees add.
I see in the photo that I'll need to touch up the sky... paint splatters. How did I do THAT, I wonder? Perhaps I should just start over from scratch. :)
I also worked on this little canvas, which I'd started a bit ago. It still needs a lot of work, and will have more textural bits incorporated into it.
There are a few others in progress but photos did not work out, so this is all I'm sharing today.
Thanks for stopping by!
I'm playing along with
Paint Party Friday, hosted by Eva and Kristin. You must check out what the other artists have created this week. It's sure to inspire you!
